Virginia Racing Commission joins NAPRA

The North American Pari-Mutuel Regulators Association (NAPRA) announced today the addition of the Virginia Racing Commission to its membership.  The Virginia Racing Commission becomes the twenty-sixth jurisdiction to join NAPRA since it was founded in June 1997 and the third jurisdiction this year.

 NAPRA President Sherry Strebel, states, “I am so pleased for both NAPRA and Virginia that they have joined our ranks.  Having Robin Williams, Chairman and Stan Bowker, Executive Secretary of the Virginia Racing Commission attend our meeting in Alabama last week was a bonus in that our members got to meet and visit with them, and they, in turn got to see the kind of progressive organization that NAPRA is.”
